About the Journal

Northridge Review is a literary & arts journal of the present, produced by students in the creative writing program at California State University, Northridge. Founded in 1962 as a campus publication of student work, Northridge Review publishes prose, poetry, drama, art, and hybrid texts from across all disciplines that test the boundaries of form, content, and genre by exploring the current literary and cultural climate in thoughtful and challenging ways.

Northridge Review at Malibu Village Books (April 26, 2025; 4–6pm)

Northridge Review will be celebrating Indie Bookstore Day in an open mic event on April 26 from 4–6pm at Malibu Village Books (23359 Pacific Coast HWY #23359, Malibu, CA 90265). Issues will be available for purchase there, too!

NOTE: Because PCH is closed coming into Malibu, taking Malibu Canyon Rd or Kanan Rd via the 101 freeway is necessary.
