Breath

I am a Psychology major in my second year at CSUN. I discovered poetry in middle school and began writing in high school. Most of my work is written in free verse, exploring themes such as family, nature, identity, and coming of age. Since my first semester, I have known about the Northridge Review through the Poetry Club and have seen it as a great opportunity for students to share and discover literary talent amongst each other. I have always had the goal of submitting one of my pieces; the only thing I needed was the courage to follow through.
