About the Journal
Established in 2023 at California State University - Northridge, our magazine began as a pivotal creative outlet for Sigma Tau Delta Iota Chi, English Honors Society. It has since evolved into an international repertoire, engaging its pages with stories that reach far beyond geographical boundaries.
Our first issue was influenced by the Chinese Zodiac, and with that, the year of our first publication landed on the year of the Wooden Dragon, which symbolizes strength, growth, and renewal. The inaugural issue featured works of prose and verse that reached even the far corners of Canada, Indonesia, and the United Kingdom. These contributors bared inflections of their cultural vitality and helped curate the notion that the love for craft is a universally binding convention.
We are thrilled to reveal that our second issue unifies us alongside the year of the snake, and with that, we stumbled upon the ouroboros, symbolizing eternity, creation, and cyclic renewal. We proudly invite you to submit poetry and prose, and additionally works of art, photography, and drama. By reaching even further out into the world, we hope to gather the nuanced echoes of a consciousness and understanding that transcends our own.
