Abstract

Allen's Hummingbirds can be found all throughout the CSUN Campus. Their distinct orange and brown plumage sets them apart from the other hummingbirds here.  They competitive, fighting amongst themselves and other birds for the ideal patch of flowers. Every now and then they'll settle on a perch, surveying you and whatever else is in their domain. Keep an eye out on your walk to class!
