Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration (or an explanation has been provided in Comments to the Editor).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, or RTF document file format.
- Where available, URLs for the references have been provided.
- The text is single-spaced; uses a 12-point font; employs italics, rather than underlining (except with URL addresses); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed within the text at the appropriate points, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the Author Guidelines.
- Minimum word count requirement is 5000, no more than 8000 per article. APA style current edition must be adhered to.
-
For manuscripts developed with AI-assisted tools, authors must complete substantial human revision to ensure the work reflects the author’s own scholarly voice and full responsibility for the content. Prior to submission, please verify that the similarity/AI-detection percentage is below 24% (acceptable threshold) using an available tool such as Turnitin or Grammarly, and address any necessary revisions before submitting the manuscript for consideration.
- If the study involves human subjects, identifiable data, or copyrighted third-party materials, the submission must include a statement of ethical approval or exemption (IRB/ethics committee), confirmation of informed consent where required, a data-availability statement (or explanation if data cannot be shared), and evidence of any necessary permissions for reproduced figures/tables.
-
An abstract (up to 250 words) and 3–6 keywords have been provided.
All in-text citations must match the reference list, and all references listed must be cited in the manuscript, in accordance with current APA style.
-
Authors should avoid one-sentence paragraphs and numbered lists unless they are essential for clarity. The manuscript should be written in third person rather than first person, using an objective academic tone throughout.
