Author Guidelines

ADRJ welcomes and highly encourages submissions. Authors must ensure their work is original, has not been previously published, nor is it before another journal for consideration,  properly cited, and formatted according to ADRJ’s editorial standards. Manuscripts undergo double-blind peer review, and submissions should follow ethical research practices.

What happens after article submission and review?

  • Desk Rejection: The manuscript is rejected without peer review because it is out of scope, poorly written, or doesn’t meet the journal’s standards.
  • Send for Peer Review: If the manuscript passes the initial screening, it is sent to reviewers for evaluation.
  • Reject After Review: The manuscript is not suitable for publication, even after peer review.

After peer review, the editor may choose from these outcomes:

  • Accept as Is: Rare, but it means the manuscript is ready for publication without changes.
  • Minor Revisions: The manuscript is nearly ready but needs small edits or clarifications.
  • Major Revisions: Substantial changes are required, and the revised manuscript may undergo another round of review.
  • Accept After Revisions: The manuscript will be recommended for publication.
