Information For Readers
We publish two issues annually, in the spring and in the fall.
Our Notes From the Field section shares individual artists' experiences with, and responses to, specific creative or scholarly projects, or present summaries of creative and scholarly endeavors as raw data. These are grounded in the author's experience, opinion, and insight.
Scholarly Articles present arguments authors are making based upon their research and experimentation, while reflecting upon established theory, practice, and pedagogy to draw specific argumentative conclusions. These are grounded in practice-based research or other research methodologies.
If you would like to remain up to date regarding our publications and our calls for proposals, we encourage readers to sign up for the publishing notification service. Use the Register link at the top of the home page for the journal. This registration will result in the reader receiving the Table of Contents by email for each new issue of the journal. This list also allows the journal to claim a certain level of support or readership. See the journal's Privacy Statement, which assures readers that their name and email address will not be used for other purposes.
