Volume 1, Issue 2: Exploring the Many Corners of Our Emerging Field, has been published!

This issue features undergraduate students, graduate students, artist practitioners, and faculty authors, each analyzing a different aspect of consent-based performance. The articles featured in this issue create calls to action for further development in our field.

These authors highlight the absence of consent-based performance in most undergraduate theatre curricula; the current demographic makeup of our field; the failings of consent; the necessity of a clear and purposeful anti-oppressive ethos within this work; and the need for new practices, specifically honed for certain genres and communities, such as TYA and musical theatre performance.
