Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
-
This submission (or any substantially similar article) has not been previously published(*), is not before another journal for consideration, nor will it be submitted for publication elsewhere while it is being considered for publication in this journal.
(*) Preprints appearing on the author's website and/or on arxiv.org (or similar) are permitted. - This submission is not a revision of a previously declined submission to this journal, unless explicitly invited/requested by the editorial board.
-
Each coauthor has explicitly approved this submission, and has supplied a valid email address belonging only to that person. Only human authors are permitted. At most one(*) coauthor may hold a Ph.D. degree at the time of submission, and such a person may not be sole author.
(*) Rare exceptions to this policy may be granted -- inquire with the Editor-in-Chief prior to submission. - Submissions must be in English and must be free from spelling and grammar errors. Mathematical proofs should be checked carefully for correctness. All references should be verified as accurate. All URL's, DOI's, and email addresses should be verified as valid and active at the time of submission.
- The submission file is a pdf, generated using LaTeX or similar. Use of the journal template is strongly recommended.
- Each submission must be accompanied by a cover letter. This cover letter must describe the nature of the relationship among the coauthors, as well as the nature and timeframe of the research process that led to this submission (e.g., summer research program, semester-long class project, senior capstone experience, 3-year independent study). It should also make clear what degrees (if any) are held by each of the coauthors.
- The authors have read and agree to abide by each item in this checklist as well as the mathematical content policy and AI policy found in the Author Guidelines. Failure to comply with any item or policy is grounds for sanctions, ranging from rejection of the current submission to temporary or permanent ban on future submissions.
