Abstract

Many graduate students in the social sciences struggle with quantitative methods, particularly in statistical writing, where they must not only conduct analyses but also communicate their findings effectively. This lesson, implemented in a Doctor of Educational Leadership (Edd) quantitative research methods course, integrated generative AI tools to enhance students' statistical writing and interpretation skills. Through asynchronous AI learning modules, in-class demonstrations, hands-on practice, and a structured assignment, students learned to use AI to refine statistical interpretations and produce professional memos tailored to both technical and non-technical audiences. Results indicated increased confidence in both statistical analysis and AI literacy, reinforcing the potential of AI as a tool for enhancing learning in quantitative research methods courses. This study underscores the role of AI in bridging the gap between statistical knowledge and professional communication, preparing educational leaders to make data-driven decisions.
