Abstract
Elizabeth “Liz” Romero is a Southern California native, currently pursuing her bachelor’s in English at California State University, Los Angeles. In “Yellow is the Saddest Color,” Liz reminisces on her turbulent college journey: losing her beloved uncle, the COVID pandemic, her suicide attempt, and most importantly, her epiphany about what it means to be a good student.
