Interview with Kyndall Brown on Equity and the California Mathematics Framework

Abstract

On July 12, 2023, the California State Board of Education approved the 2023 Mathematics Framework for California Public Schools. Kyndall Brown, Director of the California Mathematics Project, played a role in the development of the framework, and has long been an advocate for greater equity in school mathematics. This interview was conducted in August, 2023.
