Steven Fleisher, California State University Channel Islands

Dr. Steven Fleisher is Instructional Faculty for the Department of Psychology at California State University, Channel Islands. Steven worked in the field of construction prior to completing his undergraduate and graduate studies in counseling, psychology and education. This background provided him with a solid work ethic and appreciation for effective communication as related to learning. His research addresses teacher-student relationships, metacognition and self-regulated learning, and the relationship between measured competency and self-assessed competency.
